About Us
Our vision
Orchard Garden in Lyndhurst was founded in 1999, as a response to the needs expressed by the leaders and Christian workers in the area we had met. We felt led to address those needs and so moved to the New Forest from London, to develop a service in the area.
The name 'Orchard Garden' is borne out of a desire to offer the fruit of the Spirit to those in need: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control." (Galatians 5:22-23).
For many, Orchard Garden has provided a space for change through care, compassion and the application of Christian insights and proffered hope.
Our mission statement
Our mission is to be a service which desires to help and assist those in need, regardless of their faith beliefs. It is our hope that through the love of Jesus, and His compassion, life's emotional wounds will be healed on the counselling journey.
